  • Audited colour contrast across all pages using WAVE (WebAIM) achieving an AIM score of 9.6 / 10
  • Ensured all interactive elements are keyboard navigable with visible focus indicators
  • Added aria-label attributes to all icon buttons, form controls, and navigation landmarks
  • Provided descriptive alt text on product and brand images
  • Used semantic HTML headings (h1–h3) in a logical order on every page
  • Implemented skip-to-main-content link for keyboard and screen reader users
  • Ensured all animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion user preference
  • Added aria-live regions on the cart counter and loading states
  • Deployed the UserWay accessibility widget, allowing users to customise contrast, font size, and more

Known Limitations

While we strive for full compliance, some areas are still being improved:

  • The hero section uses a decorative gradient background — WAVE's automated check cannot evaluate gradient contrast. The text itself meets the 4.5:1 ratio against its fallback colour.
  • Product photography alt text is being reviewed and updated by our team.
